Android Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the application architecture, guiding the engineering team, and ensuring the successful delivery of robust Android solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable, high-performing Android applications from the ground up.
• Define, document, and enforce Android application architecture and best practices.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) for complex or critical technical components.
• Guide, mentor, and support the development team in following architectural guidelines and coding standards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth delivery.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical evaluations.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and ensure high-quality and timely delivery of features.
• Continuously explore, evaluate, and adopt new Android technologies, tools, libraries, and design patterns to improve performance, scalability, and developer productivity.

Required Skills

• Mandatory experience in Android Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in Android application development, with strong architectural exposure.
• Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack, MVVM/MVI, and dependency injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt).
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, modular architecture, and code optimization techniques.
• Experience with publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
