Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. This role focuses on building robust backend solutions that enable effective reporting and process mining solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, Python, data modelling, and experience working with Celonis software. You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into well-structured datasets, pipelines, and models that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend data pipelines to support Celonis and Power BI reporting.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for efficient ETL processes.
• Develop data transformation scripts and automation tools using Python.
• Manage data ingestion and transformation processes in Celonis, ensuring optimal data model performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and BI developers to gather reporting requirements and develop reliable data models.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, logic, and architecture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business units.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, process mining, and BI reporting.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data engineering, backend development, or analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex data structures and large datasets.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Celonis (backend/data model development, data ingestion, transformations).
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of Power BI architecture and data integration best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of business processes and process mining concepts.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
