Job Description

Role

As a Senior Analyst, Data Quality you will: Manage and govern the data of regional and global prioritized data assets (by merchants, industries, markets, and other dimensions) to ensure the highest quality of Mastercard data possible for products and services, as directed by Data Quality team management
Manage and work the queue and approval of user-submitted data corrections
Provide training and data support to users interacting with data
Assist less-senior data quality resources with reviewing complex data quality issues and decisioning
Evaluate and investigate new data assets to provide new data types, coverage, and better data quality for end users
Support dashboards to monitor data quality Evaluate and make business cases for AI and other new technologies to assist in merchant data improvements, where applicable
Provide subject matter expertise on merchant data to support product team requirements and onboarding to enterprise assets
Assist in the design of future data quality platforms and processes collaborating with technical teams
Engage technical and business partners and leadership (internal and external) to remediate issues found Prioritize data quality resources to support business activities that align with the organizations strategic initiatives

All About You

Experience with B2B and B2C data governance and stewardship processes preferred Knowledge of multiple AP region languages, geography and business structures preferred
Passion for research (automated and human-based) and eagerness to understand and form complex merchant business relationships Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering Understanding of Mastercard platforms and applications and related business processes preferred High-level understanding of emerging technologies including but not limited to, cloud architecture, master data management tools (Reltio, Informatica, etc), and AI
Strong analytic capabilities and experience using technologies such as SQL, Hadoop/Spark, and business intelligence tools (PowerBI/Tableau/etc)
Motivated self-starter with ability to excel at multi-tasking and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
