Costing And Estimation Engineer (Hvac, Ammonia Refrigeration, Chiller, Mep) Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, chiller, and MEP projects. Review project specifications, technical drawings, and scope of work to understand project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to gather quotations and evaluate material costs. Analyze labor and material costs to develop comprehensive project budgets. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations in the estimation process. Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans where necessary. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and submission of bids to clients. Monitor and track project costs during execution, providing updates to management as required. Prepare and maintain cost estimation reports for ongoing and upcoming projects. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and cost-saving measures in HVAC, refrigeration, and MEP fields. Provide technical support during the procurement and construction phases. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field. Experience in costing, estimation, and project management in HVAC, refrigeration, chiller, and MEP sectors. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ammonia refrigeration, chillers, and MEP infrastructure. Proficiency in estimation software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of relevant local and international codes and standards. Professional certification in cost estimation or project management (e.g., AACE, PMP) is a plus.

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant electrical systems including panels, motors, compressors, refrigeration units, and packaging machines. Maintain logs and documentation for maintenance activities and electrical inspections. Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and automation systems. Monitor energy consumption and suggest energy-saving improvements. Ensure proper functioning of lighting, wiring, earthing, and DG sets across the plant. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 35 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in dairy or food processing units. Awareness of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices. Role & responsibilities: : As a Chiller Design Expert, you will be responsible for designing robust and energy-efficient chiller systems tailored to FMCG production environments, including climate-controlled manufacturing zones, storage facilities, and process cooling applications. You will ensure compliance with food safety standards, optimize system performance, and collaborate closely with plant operations and utilities teams. This role involves thermal load calculations, equipment selection, piping design, energy efficiency analysis, and integration of chillers with process systems. The candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of chiller types, thermodynamics, and compliance standards, with the ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions Key Responsibilities: Design and engineer central chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled chillers (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption) for FMCG manufacturing and cold chain operations. Conduct cooling load calculations for production equipment, process areas, and storage zones Select appropriate chiller models and system components based on project requirements and environmental conditions. Develop detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), layouts, and equipment schedules. Conduct energy modeling and life-cycle cost analysis to ensure efficiency and sustainability. Proficiency with design software: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, SolidWorks, and thermal modeling tools. Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and chilled water systems. Understanding of process cooling integration and clean room HVAC design is a plus. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ammonia, refrigerant and glycol-based systems Knowledge of sustainability programs and thermal energy recovery in FMCG plants.
