Job Description

As an experienced professional with 3-5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for the following: - Conducting root cause analysis and performing simulation of market failures for vehicle systems, with expertise in Brakes, Suspension, and ADAS systems. - Utilizing your knowledge and work experience in Electric vehicles and new technologies to your advantage. - Understanding and applying vehicle and component level testing standards for new models, along with basic design level interventions for quality problems. - Planning and executing fleet testing activities across India, analyzing large amounts of test data to derive meaningful solutions. - Demonstrating proficiency in component level designs, drawings, and benchmarking activities. - Exhibiting excellent coordination skills to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external project stakeholders. - Experience in field data collection and developing testing standards based on customer usage conditions. - Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with an understanding of manufacturing processes at the vehicle and component level. - Familiarity with new vehicle features/technology and evaluation test methods and standards. - Competence in drawing and conducting inspections/audits at the component level. - Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) tools such as Cp/Cpk, control charts, etc. - Advanced knowledge of quality tools and methods including 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, RCA, CAPA, MSA, etc. - Skills for effectively coordinating with other related departments, production shops, and the field.
