In this role, this person will be responsible for the identification, implementation, and successful execution of the Amazon media buying strategy. This is a metrics-driven position, which will require an individual with solid judgment, an eye for accuracy, and the unique ability to dig into the details. This role requires a strategic mind with a roll up your sleeves, hands on approach.
1) Generate the paid media strategy on Amazon or any other marketplace platform as per requirements from the team
2) Create, optimize, manage Sponsored Products, Product Display, and Sponsored Brand campaigns against overall sales and ACOS goals on Amazon or any other marketplace platform
3) Direct and manage the daily workflow of all ad campaigns, including proposal development, campaign activation & maintenance, and reporting
4) Construct new campaigns for new products and/or shift focus of existing campaigns, in order to improve account performance
5) Analyze data to develop a thorough understanding of customer segments, identify keyword opportunities, and capitalize on search trends
6) Identify and create new campaigns geared toward highly specific head to tail search opportunities
7) Conduct audits and A/B testing of current campaigns to identify areas for both content, bid, placement, audience and keyword targeting improvement
8) Generate reporting and provide executive summaries and recommendations of sales KPIs as well as search term analytics and competitive benchmarking
9) Monitor revenue, campaign performance, click, and conversion rates, ACoS, and daily ad spend
10) Design structured tests and perform deeper dives into data analysis to identify new opportunities.
11) Propose digital media budget allocation recommendations that maximize ACoS based on advanced analysis of current campaign performance and future campaign potential
12) Train our internal team on best practices, and metrics that define success and increased purchase order volume on Amazon or any other marketplace
1) Minimum of 5-6 years of experience managing ad accounts for both Amazon Vendor and Seller Central accounts
2) Degree in in Marketing and/or equivalent work experience - NIT/ IIT/ IIM and Top Tier college graduates preferred
3) Experienced building processes and reporting that allow your efforts to impact
4) Experienced working within not just the Amazon marketplace, but Flipkart, Myntra etc
5) Enjoys working with other departments and channel managers to share ideas, service offerings, and to identify new solutions for clients
6) Strong analytical media manager who enjoys managing budgets and driving efficiency
7) Deeply knowledgeable of the digital paid media ecosystem
8) Fluent with Amazon advertising best practices
9) Experienced with keyword research and how to apply that knowledge to Amazon media management
10) Metrics driven and comfortable using data to identify opportunities
11) Able to influence others with your knowledge and use of data
12) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing Amazon DSP
13) Tech savvy with proficiency in Excel
14) Good communication skill and result-driven
