Operations & Compliance

KRA

Compliance & Regulatory:

• Ensure compliance with

  SEBI AIF Regulations, 2012

  and periodic amendments.
• Prepare and file all statutory reports, returns, and disclosures with SEBI and other regulatory authorities.
• Maintain records and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with legal, auditors, and regulators for inspections, audits, and queries.
• Monitor changes in regulatory framework and update internal processes accordingly.

Operations:

• Handle day-to-day fund operations including capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, bankers, and other intermediaries.
• Monitor portfolio company investments, valuations, and exits from an operational perspective.
• Oversee investor onboarding, KYC/AML checks, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and timely MIS, financial, and investor reporting.

Governance & Risk Management:

• Draft, review, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fund operations.
• Support board meetings, investment committee meetings, and investor interactions with compliance documentation.
• Identify operational and compliance risks and recommend mitigations.

• Experience:

  3–7 years of relevant experience in AIFs, PE/VC funds, asset management, or financial services with exposure to operations and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of

  SEBI AIF Regulations

  , Companies Act, FEMA, and allied laws.
• Excellent understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, compliance management tools, and fund accounting systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders.
