Description
Role & responsibilities: : Define and own the AI transformation strategy across the enterprise, aligned with business priorities and Group ITs digital roadmap. Identify, prioritize, and drive AI use cases that deliver measurable value across functions (e.g., R&D, supply chain, commercial, operations). Establish governance and standards for responsible AI development and usage (e.g., ethical frameworks, data privacy, model lifecycle management). Lead cross-functional teams to design, pilot, and scale AI solutionspartnering with data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and IT delivery teams. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on AI trends, capabilities, and value potential, translating complex concepts into actionable insights. Develop and mature AI capabilities across the organization, including platform selection, talent development, and operating model evolution. Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, championing AI literacy and embedding agile, data-driven thinking into the organization. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing external perspective to shape internal AI innovation. Preferred candidate profile: Proven experience in leading AI, data science, or digital transformation programs at scale. Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, enterprise IT environments, and data ecosystems. Demonstrated ability to bridge strategy and execution, with a track record of delivering business outcomes through AI. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with non-technical audiences and executive leadership Experience in regulated industries (e.g., life sciences, finance, healthcare) is an advantage. Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
