AI Transformation Lead

Job Title: AI Transformation Lead

Location:

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own the AI transformation strategy

  across the enterprise in alignment with business priorities and the Group IT digital roadmap.

• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases

  across key functions such as R&D, supply chain, operations, and commercial.

• Establish and oversee responsible AI governance

  frameworks including ethics, data privacy, bias mitigation, and model lifecycle management.

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams

  of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to design, pilot, and scale AI solutions.

• Serve as a strategic advisor

  to senior leadership, translating complex AI trends into actionable business insights.

• Develop organizational AI capabilities,

  including platform selection, talent development, and operating model evolution.

• Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and AI literacy

  throughout the organization.

• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends

  and incorporate them into Lonzas digital and data transformation roadmap.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• MBA or equivalent business qualification is a

  plus

  .

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8–14 years of advanced experience

  in AI, data science, or digital transformation leadership roles.
• Proven track record in

  leading enterprise-scale AI programs

  from ideation to deployment.
• Strong understanding of

  AI/ML technologies

  , data ecosystems, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience in

  governance, ethical AI practices

  , and model lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to

  bridge strategy and execution

  to deliver tangible business outcomes.
• Exceptional

  stakeholder management

  and communication skills, with ability to engage non-technical and executive audiences.
• Experience in

  regulated industries

  (e.g., life sciences, finance, or healthcare) is preferred.
