Job Description – AI Engineer (Fresher)

About the Role

We are looking for passionate AI Engineers (Freshers) with strong foundations in Python, Machine Learning, and AI concepts to join our core OTRAS team. You will work on building next-gen AI-driven solutions for fraud detection, exam security, document verification, and automation of large-scale government processes.

This is an opportunity to work on a national-level mission project with cutting-edge AI, ML, and NLP technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI/ML models for fraud detection, OMR scanning, and anomaly detection.
• Implement AI-powered automation for identity verification (Aadhaar, DigiLocker, PAN, etc.).
• Work with OCR, NLP, and Computer Vision for document verification and exam answer sheet processing.
• Build predictive analytics models to enhance exam security and candidate allocation.
• Collaborate with backend (Java Spring Boot) and frontend teams for AI service integration.
• Conduct data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering for model training.
• Research and experiment with Generative AI & LLMs for workflow optimization.
• Ensure compliance with IT Act 2000/2008 and data security guidelines.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision.
• Hands-on with data preprocessing, model training & evaluation.
• Basic understanding of AI deployment (APIs, Flask/FastAPI).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to LLMs, LangChain, HuggingFace models.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes for AI service deployment.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices.

Education

• B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, or related fields.
• Freshers with strong academic projects in AI/ML are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Volunteer

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹1,080,070.03 per year
