Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (BSc Agri) or Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Rural Management.

Experience Requirements:

• 15+ years of progressive experience in policy formulation, supervision, and monitoring within the agricultural sector, especially in FPO (Farmer Producer Organizations), post-harvest management, and agri-marketing.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the project team, ensuring effective implementation and adherence to set objectives.
• Coordinate with state teams and establish strong working relationships with government stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization, central and state governments, and relevant agencies to streamline operations and ensure compliance.
• Monitor the progress of identified FPOs, ensuring they receive eligible benefits under various government schemes.
• Drive the growth and economic sustainability of FPOs by providing strategic guidance and support.
• Develop and implement monitoring mechanisms to track project progress and impact.
• Regularly report to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for program enhancement.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proven leadership abilities with a focus on agricultural development and FPO management.
• Strong knowledge of government schemes and policies related to agriculture and rural development.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management and monitoring tools.
• High degree of initiative and accountability.
