Location: Mangalore

Department: Administration / Operations

Reports to: General Manager / Director Operations

Position Summary:

The AGM/DGM Admin Operations

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administration & Facility Management:

Oversee daily administrative operations across departments.

Ensure smooth functioning of office and factory facilities.

Supervise housekeeping, security, canteen, and transport services.

Manage vendor contracts and service agreements.

Oversee repair and maintenance of infrastructure and utilities.

2. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure compliance with local laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, labor laws, fire safety, etc.).

Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections.

Liaise with government and regulatory authorities.

3. Operational Support:

Support HR and Operations departments with administrative needs.

Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.

Monitor administrative budgets and control costs effectively.

4. Team Management:

Lead and develop the admin team, assigning duties and monitoring performance.

Conduct regular training and performance reviews for administrative staff.

5. Safety & Security:

Implement and monitor safety protocols within the facility.

Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.

Oversee the security team and ensure 24x7 safety of plant, personnel, and property.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration / Management / Engineering; MBA preferred.

1015 years of relevant experience in plant/factory administration, preferably in the textile or manufacturing sector.

Experience handling large teams and complex operational environments.

Key Skills:

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance and labor laws.

Crisis management and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in greenfield or brownfield plant setups.

Exposure to sustainability and EHS practices.

Multilingual capabilities (English, Kannada, Hindi, etc.) a plus.
