The role involves managing and ensuring timely collections of outstanding accounts, maintaining records of credit control activities, resolving billing issues and disputes, and working closely with other departments to improve processes. Responsibilities also include reporting and analyzing credit control performance, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and providing support during audits. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of financial accounting related to export sales, including preparation of export invoices, coordination with banks for realization of export proceeds, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as FEMA, RBI, and customs documentation. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance: Maintain accurate books of accounts related to export sales and foreign currency transactions. Record export invoices, payment receipts, and related accounting entries in ERP or accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP). Reconcile customer accounts and track outstanding receivables. Monitor forex rates and account for exchange gains/losses. Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on export sales, collections, and bank reconciliation. Export Documentation: Prepare and manage export-related documentation including: Commercial Invoice Packing List Bill of Lading / Airway Bill Certificate of Origin Export Declaration Forms (EDF) Shipping Bill Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and shipping lines. Ensure documentation accuracy to avoid delays or rejections at customs or banks.
