Job Description

Job Title: AGM / Sr. AGM

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.);master’s degree in real estate law is preferred.

Location: Delhi-NCR


You will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters pertaining to our real estate operations. You will provide expert legal advice, guidance, and support to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders to manage legal risks and facilitate smooth transactions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate law, exceptional analytical skills, and a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to real estate transactions, contracts, and property management.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of real estate agreements, including lease agreements, purchase contracts, joint venture agreements, and development agreements.
  • Conduct thorough legal due diligence on real estate transactions, including title searches, zoning regulations, environmental assessments, and other relevant aspects to identify potential legal risks.
  • Manage any legal disputes or litigation related to real estate matters, including coordinating with external legal counsel, and representing the company's interests in court proceedings or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
  • Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations, assess their impact on business operations, and develop strategies to ensure compliance.
  • Identify legal risks associated with real estate projects and transactions and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as finance, operations, and development to provide legal support and guidance on real estate-related matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate smooth business operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices, including property rights, land use regulations, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment and analytical thinking, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and mitigate legal risks.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior legal staff members.
