Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Finance & Accounts

1. Accounts & Financial Reporting

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, General Ledger, Payroll, etc.).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Ind-AS and statutory audit requirements.
• Review and finalize MIS reports for management.

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual vs budgeted expenditure.
• Implement effective cost control measures.

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax filings.
• Handle statutory compliance with ROC, RBI, SEBI (if applicable).
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

4. Banking & Treasury Management

• Manage fund flow, working capital, and cash flow.
• Maintain relationships with banks for loans, LC, BG, and other facilities.
• Monitor interest costs and optimize finance charges.

5. Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
• Strengthen internal control systems and SOPs.
• Ensure timely closure of audits with no major qualifications.

6. Team Leadership

• Supervise & mentor the accounts and finance team.
• Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely deliverables.
• Support management in decision-making with financial insights.

Qualification

• CA Inter (mandatory)
• Preferable: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Upto 20 years of experience in Finance & Accounts (depending on company level)
• Knowledge of Tally / SAP / ERP systems (Gofrugal)
• Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Banking & Compliance
