Job Description

Position Overview

Assistant General Manager – Facility (Technical Services)

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations & Facility Management

  • Lead day-to-day facility operations and ensure smooth functioning of all technical services.
  • Manage and oversee

    MEP, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing

    , and

    Building Management Systems (BMS)

    .
  • Implement and monitor

    preventive and corrective maintenance

    programs for all facilities.

Maintenance, Repairs & Upgrades

  • Oversee infrastructure upkeep, refurbishments, and

    fit-out works

    .
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimize downtime.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Manage

    vendors, contractors, and AMC service providers

    to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Track

    service-level agreements (SLA)

    , performance KPIs, and compliance metrics.
  • Drive cost optimization through effective contract negotiation and vendor evaluation.

Compliance, Safety & Efficiency

  • Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements related to facility operations.
  • Conduct routine

    safety audits

    , compliance checks, and risk assessments.
  • Promote

    energy efficiency

    , sustainability, and optimal utilization of resources.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise facility executives, engineers, and technicians.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, building owners, and external agencies for seamless operations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on facility performance, maintenance budgets, and operational improvements.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

    (mandatory).

Experience

  • Minimum

    10+ years

    of experience in

    technical facility management

    .
  • Strong exposure to

    corporate real estate, commercial facilities, or co-working spaces

    .
  • Demonstrated leadership in

    technical operations, maintenance strategies

    , and multi-site facility management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in MEP, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and BMS operations.
  • Proven experience in

    vendor management, AMC oversight, and cost optimization

    .
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure environments and deliver timely results
