Identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Managing purchasing budgets, negotiating prices, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Ensuring that procured items meet required quality standards and specifications
Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Identifying and implementing improvements to purchasing processes and systems.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members
Ability to identify and resolve issues related to procurement, contracts, and supplier relationships.
Proficiency in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
