SAP Team Lead (Kundli - HO), Sonipat

Role & responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership

• Lead the SAP team and oversee all SAP-related projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Define and implement the SAP roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure SAP systems support manufacturing operations, procurement efficiency, and financial compliance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership (Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and IT heads) to align SAP with business objectives.

SAP MM (Materials Management)

• Oversee procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and vendor management processes in SAP.
• Optimize purchase-to-pay cycles and ensure effective integration with production planning and warehouse management.
• Drive automation of material requirement planning (MRP) and streamline supply chain workflows.
• Monitor stock movement, goods receipt/issue, and material costing to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Cross-Functional & Integration

• Ensure seamless integration between MM, FI, and other modules (PP, SD, CO).
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams for real-time tracking of material consumption and production costing.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate system reports.
• Drive SAP analytics, dashboards, and reporting for data-driven decision-making.

People & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor the SAP team (functional and technical consultants).
• Manage SAP implementation/AMS partners and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Conduct user training and change management initiatives for smooth adoption.

Key Skills

• SAP MM & FI module expertise (configuration, customization, troubleshooting).
• Strong integration knowledge (MMFICOPPSD).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and costing structures.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership, communication, and change management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.

MM and FI

manufacturing industry (preferably electrical/electronics)

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation/migration will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of business processes in procurement, supply chain, inventory, and finance.

• Proven leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
