Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the civil construction, development, and management of a large-scale residential township. The role involves planning, execution, quality control, budgeting, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the end-to-end civil construction of the township, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and timelines.
  • Oversee infrastructure development, including roads, drainage, water supply, and community facilities.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors for design finalization and execution.
  • Implement project schedules and ensure milestones are met within budgetary constraints.

Budgeting & Cost Management:

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and expenditure control.
  • Optimize resource allocation and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct financial analysis to minimize risks and enhance cost efficiency.

Quality & Safety Compliance:

  • Establish and implement quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory norms.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular audits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Resolve site issues and ensure adherence to environmental and legal regulations.

Team Management & Coordination:

  • Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and ensure proper manpower utilization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the project team as required.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

  • Coordinate with government authorities for necessary approvals and permits.
  • Engage with senior management for periodic project updates and decision-making.
  • Address concerns of residents and other stakeholders during the township's development phase.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    B. Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering; M.Tech / MBA is an added advantage.
  • Experience:

    20+ years in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large-scale township or infrastructure projects.
  • Industry Preference:

    Experience in township projects for industrial or steel companies will be preferred.
