Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Manager in the Power electronics domain at Schneider Electric, your primary responsibility is to lead and manage complex global projects. You will need to possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle specific to power electronics products and systems. Your role will involve working with diverse functional domains such as Electrical, Firmware, Mechanical, Regulatory, Industrialization, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional teams, anticipating project risks, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement in project execution and team performance. Your leadership and decision-making support will be crucial in handling complex project scenarios and mentoring junior project managers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage complex global projects in the Power electronics domain - Possess strong knowledge in the end-to-end product development lifecycle specific to power electronics products and systems - Drive cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards - Anticipate project risks, conduct risk management sessions, and implement mitigation strategies - Prepare and manage project budgets and align with financial controllers - Work with Industrialization and supply chain team to transfer the product to manufacturing - Provide leadership and decision-making support in complex project scenarios - Drive continuous improvement in project execution and team performance - Mentor junior project managers and contribute to best practices Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - BE/B Tech Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical - PMP certification required, CSM/PSM certification is an added advantage - Minimum 5 years of hands-on project management experience - Minimum 10 years of experience in working with R&D or Product development domain - Proven track record in handling complex global projects - Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills - Excellent oral & written communication skills in English About Our Company: Schneider Electric values and behaviors are the foundation for creating a great culture to support business success.
