Description
As an Agile Delivery Manager at Eaton, your role will involve overseeing product and software development teams, ensuring they follow Agile practices and the Scrum framework. You will be responsible for planning and delivery, driving servant leadership to increase team efficiency, and providing motivation and guidance for process improvement. Working directly with Product Owners, engineers, and other team members, you will execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, create user stories, and manage the product backlog. Additionally, you will support the modernization strategy, roadmap, and implementation of data and application integration technology with a cloud-first approach when necessary. Engaging in business and technical discussions, presenting solutions to stakeholders, and supporting Eaton's data mesh strategy are also key aspects of this role, offering a unique opportunity to build data engineering capabilities and contribute to Eaton's mission of making what matters work. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage Agile Data engineering projects in the supply chain domain. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Identify and mitigate risks, and monitor project progress. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and Agile maturity. - Train, mentor, and support Scrum teams. - Assist with roadmapping, planning, and capacity management. - Collect, track, and report Agile and Lean metrics. - Communicate updates and risks to stakeholders. - Support cost tracking and resource planning. - Drive the maturity of the Teams Resources. - Track and drive the Data Governance maturity journey. - Drive the Data Quality maturity journey. - Ensure Data Quality management capabilities in place for Data Assets and Products. **Data Management & Integration Responsibilities:** - Support data and application integration technology. - Engage in technical discussions and drive architectural decisions. - Ensure scalable and reusable data products. - Facilitate the planning of work involved in data management and integration delivery. - Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure alignment with data strategies. - Align data management delivery work with data governance frameworks. - Ensure delivery work adheres to data engineering best practices for Snowflake. In terms of qualifications, you should have a Bachelor's degree, an advanced degree in a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of IT experience with at least 7 years in a Scrum Master, Dev Manager, or Project Manager role. **Skills Required:** - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles. - Experience with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts. - Good understanding of Project Finance management. - Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Jira tool. - Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP). - Experience in a leadership role within Agile transformation. - Proven track record of delivering complex projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledgeable in data management and integration. - Experience with cloud platforms and data modeling. - Proficiency in data visualization and integration tools. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Patience and empathy working with mentees and people new to Agile. - Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Effective listening skills with the intention of understanding. - Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations, and teams. - Ability to influence and drive change at all levels.,
