Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Agency Sales Manager, based in Shirur, with some flexibility for remote work. The Agency Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding a network of agents, achieving sales targets, and driving overall business growth. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting, training, and mentoring agents, developing sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, providing feedback to improve productivity, and ensuring excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications

Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills
Experience in recruiting, training, and leading teams, particularly agents or field staff
Proficiency in planning and executing sales strategies and meeting targets
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly health and personal accident insurance, is preferred
Ability to operate in both hybrid and in-office environments efficiently
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Prior experience as a manager in sales or insurance roles is an advantage
