Advisor, Quality Assurance Engineering

About Your Role

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be key in leading and managing the test team with both from test processes & Payment Acquiring Subject Matter Expertise perspective.The role involves effective collaboration with internal and external stake-holders with effective communications & test management principle

What You'll Do

Involve in early requirement understanding and test initiation phase
Test estimation (ROM, HLE & DLE) and Test Planning
Test strategy preparation and presentation
Requirements review with the team and identifying requirements & design gaps
Participate and present in stage-gate meetings
Lead & manage team during the test preparation and execution phase taking complete accountability for the testing deliverables
Work with Program Managers and Product & Environment teams to ensure Day-1 test readiness
Work closely with Defect Manager & Product teams to resolve issues as per the SLA & OLAs
Publish Daily and weekly status reports to Program/project team and QA leadership
Monitor & Publish Test Planning & Execution Metrics
Lead continuous improvement & Automation initiatives within the QA team

Experience You'll Need To Have

An engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from a reputable institution
Overall 12+ years of IT experience
At least 3 to 4+ years of Lead & Management experience in Payments’ domain
At least 3+ years of Test Management experience
Experience with Dashboards, Unix scripts, APIs, SQL, databases and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Passion for learning and leveraging technology to drive innovation in financial services.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Certification in testing standards – ISTQB++

Experience That Would Be Great To Have

Experience with automated testing tools
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
Familiarity with security testing practices
Understanding of software development lifecycles
Certification in software testing methodologies
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
1+ year(s) of experience in Agile methodologies
