Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admissions Officer at Global Student Centre , located in Viman Nagar, Pune . The Admissions Officer will be responsible for managing and processing student applications to UK universities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance throughout the admissions journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international education systems , with the ability to evaluate and interpret academic qualifications, degrees, and diplomas from various countries. They should be well-versed in UK university admission requirements and have relevant experience in the study abroad industry . Key Responsibilities: Process and manage student applications in line with UK university requirements and deadlines. Review academic documents and assess eligibility based on university-specific criteria. Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry, application records, and supporting documentation. Provide clear and timely guidance to students on the admissions process, required documentation, and next steps. Coordinate with university admissions teams to track application status and address queries or clarifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university policies, course requirements, and changing admissions guidelines. Work collaboratively with internal teams to support a smooth and efficient student admissions experience . Contribute to internal reporting and data tracking to monitor admissions progress and outcomes . Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, International Business, Humanities). 1–3 years of experience in university admissions or international student services. Strong understanding of education qualifications , document formats, and verification standards across different countries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with a student-centric approach. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines in a fast-paced environment . Familiarity with CRM systems or admissions platforms is an advantage.
