Admissions Officer

As an Admissions Officer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement admissions strategies that are in line with the school's mission, vision, and goals. Your ability to maintain records of applicants, admissions statistics, and conversion rates will be crucial for providing regular reports to senior leadership on enrollment trends and projections. Being a point of contact for prospective parents and students, you will address inquiries and provide information on the application process, school policies, and student life. Collaboration with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless admissions process and a welcoming environment for new students will also be essential. Your role will involve developing systems for smooth transitions for newly admitted students, including support for orientation and integration into school life. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the admissions process complies with all school policies, regulations, and legal requirements, including diversity and inclusion initiatives. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field, with experience in educational admissions or a similar field, preferably in a K-12 setting. Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are essential. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, familiarity with admissions software, and a passion for education are also important qualifications for this position.
