Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting/Finance Professional in Chennai. The role involves overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, conducting ledger entries, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. The professional will also be responsible for financial analysis, reporting, and collaborating with various departments to maintain financial health and efficiency. As part of your role, you will be responsible for: Processing adjustments provided by the business, including standard journal entry accruals, cost adjustments, and project miscellaneous transactions. Handling complex accounting troubleshooting and interfacing with finance, accounting, and operations personnel when accounting errors arise. Utilizing advanced-level accounting knowledge and being familiar with the chart of accounts and posting procedures. Preferred skills include: Scheduling and monitoring daily global finance processes Preparing balance sheet schedules and trial balances Processing and updating the Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) Communicating with auditors and responding to their queries Updating and applying tax law requirements Processing payroll Assisting in the monthly subledger close process Requirements: 2–5 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role Keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex situations Educational background: B.Com or Accounting graduate/postgraduate / CA Inter / Cost Accountant Intermediate Ability to respond to support queries within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) from internal and external stakeholders Willingness to work closely with the CFO on various accounting processes and requirements If you meet the above criteria and are looking to grow your career in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment, we’d be happy to connect.
