Job Overview

The Admission Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process by providing accurate and timely information. You will be the first point of contact for students, helping them make informed decisions about their education and career goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Provide accurate information about colleges, courses, eligibility, and admission procedures.
• Handle incoming inquiries and follow up on leads to maximize conversion.
• Maintain and update student databases and CRM tools.
• Meet weekly/monthly targets related to admissions and lead conversions.
• Coordinate with internal marketing and operations teams for campaigns and student engagement.
• Build strong relationships with prospective students to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in counseling, admissions, or student support roles (preferably in the education industry).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Confident personality with strong interpersonal and persuasive abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using MS Office and CRM tools.
• Goal-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet targets.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working with educational consultancies or institutions will be an advantage.
