Admission Counselor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly organized Admission Counselor to join our Admissions team. The Admission Counselor will play a key role in guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process, promoting the institution’s programs, and helping meet enrollment goals.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families from inquiry through enrollment.Conduct information sessions, campus tours, and individual counseling sessions.Evaluate and process applications and supporting documents in accordance with admission policies.Represent the institution at high schools, college fairs, education expos, and other outreach events.Assist in the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment events.Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions and applications using CRM software.Collaborate with academic departments, financial aid, and student services to support applicants.Provide timely and personalized communication to prospective students via phone, email, and in person.Meet weekly, monthly, and seasonal enrollment targets and report progress to leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).1–3 years of experience in admissions, student services, counseling, or related roles.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with admissions software and CRM systems (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus.Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends, as needed.Preferred Skills:Multilingual abilities (especially local languages and/or English fluency).Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed.Knowledge of the higher education landscape and current trends.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageProfessional development opportunitiesSupportive and mission-driven work cultureOpportunities to make a meaningful impact in students' lives
