Position: Admission Counselor - Sales Location: Coimbatore (In-Office) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Overview : The Admission Counselor will engage with students and parents to provide guidance, resolve queries, and facilitate the admissions process. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a goal-oriented mindset to deliver exceptional counselling services. Key Responsibilities Student and Parent Engagement: Address queries from students and parents via phone, video calls, and emails. Provide career counselling and advice on academic pathways. Build rapport with parents and students to understand their needs and expectations. Admission Counselling: Present programs and offerings effectively to prospective students. Handle objections and resolve queries regarding courses, fees, and schedules. Facilitate the admissions process, ensuring clarity and transparency. Sales and Follow-Up: Convert leads into admissions through effective communication and persuasion. Maintain follow-up schedules and ensure timely closures. Data Management: Record and manage counselling sessions and admission data in the system. Generate reports and analyze trends to optimize counselling processes. Key skills Excellent verbal and written communication in English and regional languages (Tamil preferred). Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills. Ability to empathize with students and resolve queries diligently. High emotional intelligence and active listening skills. Goal-oriented with a passion for student success.
