Admission Counsellor – Job DescriptionOverview: An Admission Counsellor guides prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about academic programs, eligibility requirements, campus life, and application procedures. They serve as the primary point of contact between the institution and applicants, helping students make informed decisions and ensuring a smooth enrollment experience. Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Guidance: Advise prospective students on program options, admission criteria, financial aid, scholarships, and career outcomes. Application Support: Assist students with completing applications, verifying documents, and meeting deadlines. Communication: Handle inquiries via phone, email, chats, and in-person meetings; maintain regular follow-ups with applicants. Outreach & Recruitment: Conduct campus tours, attend education fairs, organize information sessions, and connect with schools or agencies. Evaluation: Review student applications to ensure compliance with institutional policies. Relationship Management: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and referral partners. Data Management: Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, track leads, and generate admission reports. Conversion & Targets: Work towards enrollment goals by nurturing leads and improving application-to-admission conversion rates. Collaboration: Coordinate with academic departments, marketing teams, and financial aid offices to support admissions-related activities.
