Position: Admission Counselor

Location:

Job Responsibilities :

  • Admission counsellors influence potential students to enroll in the programs offered by the university by giving them correct and complete information about the programs in the university and the admission process
  • Responsible for sourcing new prospective opportunities and closing the admissions to achieve targets and will play a key role in increasing admissions, generating leads, qualifying prospects managing the maximum number of admissions and working under the direct supervision of the Head of the Institute.
  • Meet admission targets using various customer methods (Inbound, Referrals, Outbound, presentations, networking etc.)
  • Cold call using a given database to enroll students and ensure recording & updating the details in the CRM
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections and Collaborate with team to achieve better results.
  • Plan and execute outreach activities such as education fairs, tie-ups with coaching institutes, school/college visits, webinars, and alumni events to promote the institution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers such as school counselors, educational consultants, and coaching centers.
  • Coordinate with academic departments, & other concerned stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of selected students.
  • Manage application tracking, shortlisting, entrance tests/interviews, and admission letters.
  • Ensure all documentation is collected, verified, and filed as per regulatory norms.
  • Maintain structured communication with applicants through the admission lifecycle.
  • Maintain updated records of inquiries, applicants, offers, and final admissions in the CRM or ERP system.

Job

  • Have a set target for obtaining quality admissions. Adherence to the admission process from plan to closure.
  • Maintain and expand student database.
  • Should interact and connect with the alumni.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have competency in computer usage

  • Maintain and expand partner base within your assigned territory/market/geography
  • Timely follow up all leads and updations in the CRM

Education Qualifications Required:

Bachelors degree / Master's degree

Experience :

6 to 12 years

Working Hours:

6 days in a week (Monday to Saturday) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
