Engineer - B.E / B.Tech / MCA
Overview: We are seeking two (2) experienced and skilled Level 2 Workday Support Resources to join our team and provide ongoing support to the Client. These resources will operate remotely from the Microland s Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) in Bangalore and will be responsible for handling Workday-related L2 service requests and issues, troubleshooting, and minor system configuration updates during the Client s business hours (UK based). This position is essential for ensuring that Workday systems remain efficient, and client issues are resolved promptly, contributing to the overall success and seamless operation of the Workday platform for the Client
Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue Resolution & Technical Troubleshooting:
    Provide timely and efficient troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues within the Workday system, following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Minor Configuration Changes:
    Implement minor system configuration changes within Workday as required, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • System Testing & Validation:
    Assist in testing and validating system updates, new configurations, and functionality changes to ensure the stability and integrity of the Workday platform.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the Client s internal team to understand issues, provide necessary support, and deliver high-quality technical assistance during business hours.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities, issues, and resolutions. Ensure proper logging and tracking of tickets using the designated tracking system.
Out of Scope:
    • Functional support and Level 3 support for Workday
    • Advanced configurations and changes that require extensive functional expertise
Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • 2 years+ proven experience in Workday administration, including Level 2 support roles
    • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, configuration, and system updates in Workday
  • Skills:
    • Good technical knowledge of Workday modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, etc.)
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and effectively within a remote support model
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Tools:
    • Experience with Workday s ticketing and tracking systems is a plus
    • Familiarity with standard Workday troubleshooting practices and methodologies
