Role Overview

Ad Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and acquire new clients across industries.
  • Sell digital advertising solutions, media packages, and custom campaigns.
  • Generate leads through cold calls, networking, and industry events.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and advertising agencies.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ad solutions.
  • Handle client queries, negotiate deals, and ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Present commercial proposals, media plans, and pitch decks.
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and solutions.
  • Work closely with the operations, creative, and ad-tech teams for campaign execution.
  • Track campaign performance and share reports with clients.
  • Ensure timely delivery, optimization, and successful execution of campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales updates and pipeline reports.
  • Suggest improvements in products, pricing, or positioning based on market feedback.
  • Conduct client needs analysis and deliver tailored marketing solutions.
  • Maintain client relationships and manage the post-sales follow-up.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Media, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital ad sales, media sales, agency sales, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising formats (Display, Video, Social Media Ads, Programmatic, Performance Marketing).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic ad analytics.
