Accounts Payable (AP) Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the

  entire Accounts Payable process

  , including invoice verification, processing, and timely payments
• Review and validate invoices for accuracy, approvals, and compliance with company policies
• Ensure

  reconciliations of vendor accounts

  and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related issues
• Maintain and update AP records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally)
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely closure of open items
• Support

  month-end and year-end closing activities

  related to Accounts Payable
• Lead and mentor junior AP team members (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with internal/external audits

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes

• Excellent proficiency in Advanced Excel

  (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.)
• Prior experience

  leading or mentoring a team

• Excellent

  verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
  

Job Requirements:

• Immediate joiner based in Hyderabad

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an AP or related accounting role.
• Previous experience working with

  SAP

  software is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local accounting regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
