Accounts Payable Specialist

An Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant with healthcare sector exposure who will handle vendor invoice processing, payments, reconciliations and support AP operations and close cycles.

·        Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding, approvals, matching to purchase orders or service delivery (especially healthcare vendor services, equipment, supplies).

·        Schedule and execute vendor payments in line with agreed terms, liaise with Treasury/ Vendor Coordinator where required.

·        Reconcile vendor accounts monthly, investigate and resolve discrepancies.

·        Maintain AP ledger, perform month‑end closing for AP accounts, ensure timely accruals and vendor balance clean‑up.

·        Coordinate with operations/clinical departments for invoice approvals, service delivery confirmation, discrepancies resolution.

·        Maintain audit documentation for vendor invoices, payments, approvals and reconciliations.

·        Support automation initiatives in AP such as e‑invoicing, vendor portal usage and process improvements.

·        Provide periodic reports on AP aging, vendor terms, payment metrics.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.

·        2‑4 years of AP experience; healthcare sector experience preferred.

·        Knowledge of AP processes, good control mindset, understanding of vendor payment cycles.

·        Strong accounting system competency, Excel skills.

·        Good communication skills, ability to work with internal stakeholders (procurement, operations).

·        On‑site in Bangalore or Trichy.
