YOUR IMPACT

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations by maintaining internal controls, supporting the invoicing process, and ensuring the timely payment of outstanding debts. You will also be a key contributor to maintaining accountability, accurate transaction recording, audit readiness, and account reconciliations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with maturity and discretion.

• Process Invoices and Data Verification: Review purchase orders for correct Entity, Spend Category, Cost Centre, and Value; submit and track invoices accordingly.
• Support and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendor inquiries (e.g., payment reminders, credit notes, invoice requests) and internal stakeholders (Accounting, Payroll, Procurement, and FP&A) for data related to entities, cost centers, and suppliers.
• Quality Control: Conduct a weekly review of all supplier invoices to validate for errors and ensure accuracy.

Manage Travel & Expense (T&E) and P-Card:

• • T&E Reporting: Review all line items on T&E reports. Approve reports under $\$1,000$ USD and submit a daily summary report for all claims above $\$1,000$ USD to the Manager.
  • P-Card Management: Own the full P-card invoice process, including downloading monthly transaction reports, locating relevant invoices, verifying submissions, and providing weekly status updates and follow-ups.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of direct experience in Accounts Payable.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, financial systems, and core accounting principles.
• Proven proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion.
• Proficiency or experience with Workday accounting software.
• Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a full-time position based in our Hyderabad office. Work timings would be 12-9pm IST, with a 1-hour break for lunch, to start with, and slowly move to 2 pm to 11pm IST, to ensure there is sufficient overlap time to work with US and EMEA entities.
