Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and receiving documents
  • Enter and maintain vendor information in the accounting system
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and handle payment inquiries
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and organize accounts payable files
  • Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Comply with accounting policies, procedures, and financial regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments
  • Assist in preparing reports and analysis as required by management

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong data entry and typing skills with high attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Relevant accounting certifications are a plus
