Job Title: Accounts Assistant – Payables
Company: Chemmannur International Holidays & Resorts Ltd

Job Summary:

Chemmannur International Holidays & Resorts Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant – Payables to join our finance team in Thrissur. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounts payable processes, with hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in hotels or resorts. You will play a vital role in managing vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices and staff claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify invoice details, purchase orders (PO), and goods receipt notes (GRN) for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Schedule and process payments (cheques, NEFT, RTGS, etc.) according to due dates.
  • Prepare monthly reports of payable accounts, aging analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in monthly closing activities and internal/external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with GST and other statutory requirements relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Coordinate with procurement, stores, and operations departments to verify bills and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain documentation and records as per audit and statutory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1 year in hotels/resorts or hospitality sector.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or similar).
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Working Conditions:

  • Location: Head Office, Thrissur, with occasional travel to resort properties if required.
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 6 days/week

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
