Accounts Officer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing accounting tasks and compliance management for clients in the MSME sector. Your main duties will include conducting accounting and bookkeeping functions, ensuring clients meet fiscal and statutory filing requirements, preparing financial statements, developing accounting controls, managing cash flow, and collaborating with clients to provide necessary reports. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct appropriate accounting and bookkeeping functions for assigned clients. - Ensure clients adhere to fiscal and statutory filing requirements and meet deadlines. - Prepare financial statements and maintain internal bookkeeping. - Develop and implement comprehensive accounting controls. - Manage cash flow and budgeting processes. - Collaborate with clients to provide Management Information System (MIS) reports. - Actively participate in client handover and onboarding processes. - Coordinate information provision to external/global auditors for audits. - Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement and streamline administrative tasks. - Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams. - Manage reporting, planning, tracking, and other administrative tasks as required. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in public accounting and private industry, preferably within the social sector. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university. - Proficiency in core accounting under Indian laws and understanding of direct and indirect taxation. - Capability to oversee critical financial operations within a business context. - Track record of effective communication and collaboration in a team setting. - Strong grasp of Indian GAAP and experience in report preparation. - Project management and organizational aptitude to manage multiple tasks. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to influence business decisions.,
