This role is instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and fiscal discipline that support the

The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with a strategic understanding of hotel operations, contributing to efficient cost management, profitability, and seamless financial processes aligned with Amartaras standards of excellence.

Specific Skills

Bachelor s or master s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA/ICWA Inter preferred).
Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or the service industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Integrity, accountability, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsible For

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support management decisions.
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Conduct periodic internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
Supervise vendor management, payment cycles, and purchase accounting.
Work closely with operations, F&B, and procurement teams for accurate cost tracking.
Implement robust internal controls and standard accounting procedures.
Train and mentor accounting staff for consistent performance and compliance.
