Job Title: Accounts Executive (with GST Experience)

Location: Velugam, Silvasa

Industry: Generator Manufacturing

Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accounts Executive

with hands-on knowledge of

GST compliance

and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure accurate GST filings, and support the finance department in maintaining efficient and compliant financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update

daily accounting records

, ledgers, and journal entries.Prepare and file

monthly/quarterly GST returns

(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).Perform

GST reconciliation

between books of accounts and GST portal.Ensure timely and accurate

TDS/TCS compliance

and filings.Assist in

preparing financial reports

such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.Handle

vendor and customer invoice entries

, credit/debit notes, and payment follow-ups.Coordinate with auditors for

internal and statutory audits

.Ensure

accurate input tax credit (ITC) claims

and manage reverse charge mechanisms where applicable.Support the finance team with

bank reconciliations

, payroll, and MIS reporting.Stay updated with

latest changes in GST laws

and regulations.

Requirements

Bachelors degree

in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred).

2-5 years

of experience in accounting, with

strong exposure to GST compliance

.Knowledge of

Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software

.Proficiency in

MS Excel

(VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.).Strong understanding of

Indian taxation laws

, including GST and TDS.Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a

CA firm or finance department of a mid to large-sized company

.Familiarity with

e-invoicing

, GST portal functionalities, and online compliance platforms.
