About Company

New Horizons Child Development Centre (NHD) introduced the concept of self-funded, interdisciplinary, measurable and outcome-based rehabilitation in India. Founded in 2003, NHD is one of the largest multidisciplinary child development centres in the country, operating five centres across Mumbai. We provide individualized evaluation and intervention through a team led by a Developmental Paediatrician.Job Title: Accounts ExecutiveWe are hiring an Accounts Executive to manage accounting systems, month-end close activities, payables and receivables, and to support financial reporting for the Head Office and our centres.Roles and Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain accounting systems and controls in line with company policies.
Define and document policies and procedures for the head office and centres, including delegation of authority for bill approvals, cheque signing, cash withdrawals, advances, and expense approvals.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closing of the books and financial reporting.
Prepare consolidated financial statements and analyses; assess effects of changes in business practices on consolidated results.
Coordinate proactively with Centre Heads to support the close process and resolve accounting queries.
Generate periodic reports and special analyses as required by corporate guidelines.
Establish and maintain costing and accounting systems to support operations.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing and collection.
Verify and sign cheques and RTGS letters according to the delegation of authority.
Contribute to policy drafting for cheque returns, discounts, and processes related to theft or fraud.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree (required).
Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Proficiency in English (required).
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% (preferred).
