New Horizons Child Development Centre, introduced for the first time in India the concept and practice of self-funded inter-disciplinary, measurable and outcome based rehabilitation where each child gets individual evaluation and intervention in a comprehensive, scientifically planned and documented manner. NHD is one of the largest multi-disciplinary, comprehensive and integrated child development centres in India. Founded in 2003, with currently 5 centres across Mumbai, NHD offers developmental services under one roof through a inter-disciplinary team headed by a Developmental Paediatrician. New Horizons Child Development Centre is committed to advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and intervention strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Through research, therapy, and community engagement, we strive to create a more inclusive world for children and families navigating neurodiversity.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our Research & Development team. This role involves active participation in the design, data collection, analysis, and publication of research studies focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related neurodiverse conditions. The role also includes contributing to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and community-based research projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the planning, development, and execution of research studies related to ASD and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
· Conduct literature reviews, draft research proposals, and help prepare papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
· Collect, clean, and manage clinical and observational data; ensure compliance with ethical and confidentiality standards.
· Support data analysis through qualitative and quantitative methods.
· Coordinate with therapists, educators, and parents to gather input and insights for research and CSR projects.
· Contribute to the design and reporting of CSR initiatives, impact assessments, and knowledge dissemination activities.
· Maintain documentation, records, and databases related to ongoing studies.
· Attend academic conferences, seminars, or workshops to stay updated with emerging research trends in neurodiversity.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Education, Social Work, Public Health, or related field.
· Prior experience in academic or clinical research, preferably related to autism or developmental disorders.
· Familiarity with research methodologies and statistical tools.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
· Passion for working with neurodiverse populations.
· Experience in community engagement or CSR projects.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (therapists, educators, data analysts).
· Interest in publishing and presenting research findings.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
