About the Role

We are hiring an Accounts cum MIS Associate for government project operations in Bhubaneswar. The role involves daily accounting management, data analysis, MIS reporting, and supporting PACS/LAMPS operations. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, good accounting knowledge, and proficiency in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities – Accounting

• Manage daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments).
• Handle accounts payable/receivable with proper documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledger balances.
• Assist in GST & TDS calculations, return preparation, and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain all invoices, vouchers, and financial documents.

Key Responsibilities – MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for management.
• Collect, analyze, and validate data from different departments.
• Develop dashboards and performance trackers.
• Prepare financial summaries, variance analysis, and insights.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience in Tally / ERP / Accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Charts; Power Query preferred).
• Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation ability.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts & MIS roles preferred.
• Knowledge of GST/TDS will be an added advantage.
• Experience in PACS/LAMPS operations is highly preferred.
