Accounts Assistant (Costing)

The Account Associate – Costing will be responsible for analyzing cost structures, preparing cost reports, and supporting management in pricing decisions by providing accurate costing data. The role involves close coordination with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure correct cost allocation and effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and analysis of product costing and monthly cost statements.
• Review material, labor, and overhead costs and update standard costing.
• Verify purchase costs, freight charges, vendor bills, and inventory valuation.
• Support in pricing decisions by providing accurate cost insights.
• Track variances between standard cost vs actual cost and highlight deviations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting based on cost trends and operational requirements.
• Maintain cost records, reports, and MIS related to costing.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to collect cost-related data.
• Support internal and external audits with cost-related documentation.
• Ensure all costing activities comply with company policies and accounting standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of costing principles and cost accounting standards.

• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP / Tally / Odoo / etc.).

Educational Qualification •

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CMA Inter (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
