Accounts and Finance Deputy Manager/ Manager

Reports To:

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Preparation and finalization of

  Balance Sheet

  and

  Profit & Loss Account

  in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of financial statements, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Review and monitor

  EDPS (Electronic Data Processing System)

  and

  BOE (Bill of Entry)

  related accounting entries for accuracy.

1. Book Closure & Audit

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual

  book closure activities

  .
• Coordinate with auditors (internal, statutory, tax, etc.) and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

1. Working Capital Management

• Preparation and monitoring of

  Drawing Power statements

  for banks.
• Manage

  accounts receivable and payable

  to maintain optimal cash flow.
• Monitor overdue receivables and ensure timely collections.

1. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to

  company compliance requirements

  , including statutory returns, tax filings, GST, TDS, and ROC requirements.
• Keep updated with changes in accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory framework.

1. Team Management

• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Allocate responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliverables.
• Conduct training and performance evaluations for team development.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and ROC compliance

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  financial reporting, book closure, and audit handling

  .
• Proficiency in

  ERP/Accounting software

  (SAP/Tally/Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams under strict timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)

  or equivalent professional qualification.

• 5–10 years

  of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the manufacturing/pharmaceutical/related industry.
• Proven track record in

  statutory compliance, working capital management, and team handling

  .
