Accounts and Compliance Officer

Hiring for Isha Group for the position of Accounts and Compliance Officer 

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting & Finance:

a. Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers

b. Handle accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, and reconciliations

c. Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)

d. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

e. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion

Compliance:

a. Ensure timely filing of statutory returns – GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, etc.

b. Maintain compliance calendars and adhere to regulatory deadlines

c. Prepare documentation for legal and tax compliances

d. Coordinate with legal, tax advisors, and government authorities

e. Support internal control and risk management initiatives

Founder’s Personal Accounts:

a. Manage the founder’s personal income, investments, and expenses

b. Track and maintain records of personal assets, liabilities, and financial transactions

c. Prepare personal financial summaries, reports, and budgets as required

d. Ensure timely tax planning and filing of personal returns

e. Liaise with banks, investment advisors, and insurance agents on behalf of the founder

Qualifications & Skills:

a. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting

b. 2–6 years of experience in accounting and compliance (prior experience with HNIs is a plus)

c. Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and Companies Act compliance

d. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, or similar accounting tools

e. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness

f. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

g. Ability to multitask and manage both business and personal finance streams effectively

h. Proficiency in English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

a. CA / CMA or equivalent qualification (preferred)

b. Experience in handling personal accounts of founders, directors, or high-net-worth individuals
