Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, finalization of accounts, statutory compliance, and supporting financial management for the organization. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Finalize accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including

  GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other regulatory obligations.

• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensure proper vendor and client reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Provide support for BSE-related financial disclosures and compliance reporting.
• Implement internal controls and improve financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification:

  B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter preferred.
• Minimum

  4–7 years of relevant accounting experience

  (experience with NBFCs or listed companies will be an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of

  Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and other tax laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or other ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
