Position: Accountant Company : Tamarind Marketing Worldwide - A Venture by Maverix Worldwide Location: Goregaon West, Mumbai (On-site) Webiste : www.tamarindworldwide.com / www.maverixworldwide.com Experience: 1–2 Years Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 (Based on experience & skill) Department: Finance & Accounts About the Role: Tamarind is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to support our finance operations. This role involves day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, invoice handling, and basic reporting. The ideal candidate should be organized, punctual, and willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced creative environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain daily records of financial transactions (Tally preferred) Assist in preparing sales invoices, purchase bills, and expense entries Manage petty cash, vendor payments, and reimbursements Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements Assist with monthly bank reconciliations Maintain supporting documents and proper filing of bills/vouchers Coordinate with the CA or external consultants for audits and compliance Required Skills Basic knowledge of accounting principles Familiarity with Tally ERP, MS Excel, or any accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle day-to-day accounting independently (with guidance) Good communication and time management skills Qualification B.Com / M.Com or equivalent 1–2 years of work experience in accounting or finance Bonus if You Have Experience in agency or service-based business accounting Understanding of GST, TDS filing & returns Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Why Join Tamarind?
