We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting and demonstrate strong proficiency in advanced accounting concepts, financial reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, general ledgers, and financial records.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.
• Assist in audits (internal & statutory) and support auditors with required documentation.
• Analyze financial data, provide insights, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Implement strong internal controls and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Support management with MIS reports and other ad-hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
• Proficiency in accounting software -Tally
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of advanced accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred
• Experience in working with consultancies, education sector, or service-based industries.
